About Remora Pay

Non-custodial payment orchestration for WooCommerce. Merchants accept card payments. Settlement happens in USDC, directly to their wallet, through immutable smart contracts.

The Problem

Traditional payment processors were built for a different era. They charge 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction. They hold your funds for days or weeks. They impose rolling reserves. They expose you to chargebacks and disputes that cost time, money, and inventory.

For many online merchants, payment processing is the single largest operational cost after goods sold — and the one they have the least control over.

The Solution

Remora Pay replaces the traditional payment stack with smart contracts. When a customer pays with their card, the payment is converted to USDC and routed through an on-chain splitter contract on Polygon. The contract automatically distributes funds: 96.5% to the merchant’s wallet, 3.5% platform fee.

There are no monthly fees, no setup costs, no minimum volumes. The smart contract is deployed once per merchant and operates autonomously. No one — including us — can redirect funds away from the merchant’s wallet.

How It Works

The merchant installs a WooCommerce plugin and enters their Polygon wallet address. That’s the entire setup. No merchant account applications, no underwriting, no waiting.

At checkout, customers see familiar payment options — Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay — powered by licensed providers (Transak, MoonPay, or Coinbase). The customer pays in their local currency. The provider converts it to USDC and sends it to the merchant’s smart contract, which splits and settles instantly.

The WooCommerce order is automatically marked as paid. The merchant receives USDC directly in their wallet with no intermediary holding their funds at any point.

  We never hold merchant funds. The smart contract is the only entity that touches the money, and it can only send funds to the merchant’s pre-configured wallet address.
• Verifiable on-chain.
  Every payment, every split, every fee — all recorded on the Polygon blockchain. Merchants don’t have to trust us. They can verify everything themselves through any block explorer.
• Simplicity.
  One plugin. One wallet address. No API keys, no merchant account applications, no underwriting. If it takes more than two minutes to set up, we’ve failed.
